#1 - Choose a FrontPage Template that will allow you to grow and upgrade your website. When someone first starts out, the demand for space and information areas is light - but if you stay in business, your website will need to grow! The
most versatile and feature-rich Series we offer is the "Today AND Tomorrow Series"!
Next, review the different design layouts... If you're going to be using a lot of ads or want to put a lot of information on your pages, you will need a FULL PAGE design.
Click here to look over example FrontPage Template layouts - you'll see that some of the designs only use half or two-thirds of a page/screen.
These layouts may look cluttered if you put a lot of info on them.
If your content is extensive, consider a full page design, preferably one with three columns.
Finally, don't get hung up on the main image in a theme design - most of the FrontPage Templates have images that are easily changed. Changing the image puts a whole new look on a design!

Regarding "customized" designs, we normally limit our Website Design Services
to modification of our existing FrontPage Templates... But you should contact us by email, giving us your phone number and a few details
about what you want. If your desired design falls within the parameters of what we normally do, then we can probably work something out.

In a word, YES. YES, it is difficult to change the colors in a theme. All of the buttons, key tags, pages, borders, etc., are coordinated with the primary image. The bottom line is that changing the colors in a FrontPage Template is the
same as developing a new design...
We now offer a Website Design Service for customers who are interested in a theme with a different
color scheme - but my suggestion is that you consider another design first... Changing the image in most FrontPage Templates is far easier.

Most of the templates are designed with images that are easily changed... if you are unsure about whether an image can be replaced, just email us at
designs@fpworld.com ...
One note of caution about changing images... All of our designs are color-coordinated. Be sure that your custom image has the same colors as the FrontPage Template you want to change!
We offer a Website Design Service to help you change images that cannot be easily replaced.

Depending on which design you're looking at, most Navigation Bars can be easily changed to another location by placing your cursor where you want the new Navigation Bar to be, then choose "Insert> Navigation>" from the top menu in
FrontPage.
Look over the FrontPage Template "fpw1057"
- you'll see that this design uses the Navigation Bar on the Left, the Right AND the Middle, depending on which page you're looking at.
There are only a few FrontPage Template designs that might present a more complicated Navigation Bar change... If you're unsure, just

Many of the FrontPage Template page layouts are easily retargeted with info blocks that make them suitable for your Services - or any other - content...
Navigation Bars and Buttons or Banners
can be modified with the appropriate text, and the page will then reflect whatever you want it to be.
The only reason we use the Page Titles of "Catalog" or "Product" is that most businesses sell something that fits within these categories - even if it's someone else's products...
If you want the maximum choices and flexibility in FrontPage Template page or design layouts, we suggest you focus on any of the designs from the
"Today AND Tomorrow Series"... This Series provides a wide variety of Page Designs and Layouts, and
will suit ANY type of business or website application!

That depends on how much of your information, photos, products or other data is ready to go! We have customers who have no experience and finish a large website in a few hours, and there are some that take months to get around to
working on their site.., We make great designs, and we make them easy to work with - but we haven't yet figured out how to make a client work on our schedule (big smile).
These FrontPage Templates make design and production simple, even for a novice... they are based on a series of nested tables, so all you really need to do is "cut and paste" your information from existing files into the appropriate
area on your FrontPage Template.
Many customers purchase a FrontPage Template, THEN decide what they want to put into the pages. That's a reasonable approach, since the layout of information or images is the toughest part of producing a website, but you should have
some idea of what you want to do if you're in a hurry to get your website up...

You'll find a complete section offer info and resources that will help you with your website production, starting with

"Tips and Tricks" - all of these areas are part of this in-depth Customer Help Center.
Once your FrontPage theme and template files are installed, we suggest you create a new web using the template. Open Microsoft FrontPage, go to File > New > Web and select the appropriate template from your list of choices.
FrontPage will then create a full, multi-page web based on the template.
Click on the Navigation View icon to see the structure of your web. You can then make note of which pages you need to delete or rename, and how many additional pages you need to add.
We offer lots of tips and help information in the Customer Help Center. We also recommend that you become familiar with the Microsoft FrontPage help files. Most of your answers can be found there.

If your site does not look similar to ours, chances are you have simply applied the theme to your existing pages, instead of INSTALLING the FrontPage Templates...
Click here for Installing and Using Your FrontPage Template help sections. Remember that you must create a new web using the
appropriate template in order to have the same page layouts and extra images.
If you are redesigning an existing site, you must still create a new web using the template. You will then be able to copy and paste text and images from your old web into your new one.
